It’s as simple as possible to share a secret with the world. There are three main ways to share your thoughts.
Just enter your submission in the box on the right, and click ‘Tell the world!’. Your submission will be sent to us completely anonymously.
You can email us at confess@myfriendsdontknow.com. Bear in mind that if you email using your usual account we’ll be able to see the address. We won’t use it for anything, but you might want to be more anonymous.
There are a number of online services that let you sign up temporarily to send anonymous emails. Try www.sendanonymousemail.net. You can send an email that doesn’t use your address.
You can share your secrets through a Twitter account. All you need to do is send a direct message to ‘tell_mfdn’. You can do this easily through a Twitter client like Twhirl. Or type a Twitter message directly as follows:
d tell_mfdn *your message*
(Remember you can also subscribe to our Twitter feed by following listen_mfdn)
While we won’t use any personal information that we get, when you submit through Twitter we will receive your submission with your username.
All submissions are checked over before we post them to the site. We’re not looking to change your words or weaken your message. There’s only a couple of things we don’t accept.
